There’s something about a light in a window…
Urban Stoop- watercolor, 13x16. Framed in clean white mat with one inch black frame, to finished size of 19x22.
This scene particularly grabbed me- the warmth of the doorway beckons the viewer inside, away from the clinging, wet snow, cold air and dancing shadows of winter twilight. Even the utilitarian window cages are transformed into noble guardians, keeping the inhabitants on the other side safe.
